Lena Swann, founder/owner, and her dog salon/spa has survived local market economics and the pandemic as the only dog groomer in Emeryville. She felt forced to self-identify as black-owned during recent BLM protests but didn’t want to alienate her diverse clientele or divide Emeryville’s multi-cultural community.
